Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, War 2 is the sequel to the blockbuster War (2019) and the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It stars Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, Jr. NTR (marking his Hindi film debut), and Kiara Advani. The film features high-octane action set across international locations and includes a dance sequence between Hrithik and Jr. NTR.

War 2 is scheduled to release theatrically on 14 August 2025, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend in India; it will be released in Hindi along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu
